Dr. Cross has more than 25 years of experience in life science company formation, investment and fundraising, product development, and operations across a broad spectrum of areas. Throughout his career, Dr. Cross has funded, founded, and/or managed over 30 different companies in the life sciences field. Previously, Dr. Cross was a co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer of the radiopharmaceutical company, ARTMS Inc., where he was responsible for leading development and expansion of ARTMS’ medical isotopes and partnership and research opportunities with biotech and pharmaceutical companies. He also conceived the design, development, and implementation of the clinical strategy for alleviating supply constraints of a leading medical isotope.

Previously Dr. Cross was General Manager of development and strategic initiatives at the Centre for Probe Development and Commercialization (McMaster University), including the formation of three radiopharmaceutical spin-out companies. Dr. Cross co-founded and was COO/CBO of OncoSec Medical, a San Diego immuno-oncology company. He was also the SVP and co-manager of a $330 million life sciences venture fund. Dr. Cross has held senior positions at Viventia Biotech, MDS Proteomics, MDS Capital, and the Toronto Raptors basketball team. Dr. Cross received both his Ph.D. in physiology and MBA from the University of Toronto and was a postdoctoral fellow with the Department of National Defence.
