Ms. Paone is an accomplished biotech executive with more than 25 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Satellos, she served as Chief Operating Officer at Generation Bio (Nasdaq: GBIO), where she led the company’s growth from start-up to a development-ready organization. In her time at Generation Bio, Ms. Paone was responsible for a broad range of functional areas including regulatory strategy, quality, CMC, technical operations, and program management.

Previously, Ms. Paone was Vice President, Head of Regulatory Affairs Strategy at Vertex Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Nasdaq: VRTX), guiding multiple breakthrough therapy drugs through clinical development to marketing approval. Prior to joining Vertex, Ms. Paone worked in chemical process research and development at Merck & Co., Inc. and Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Paone holds an MBA from Bentley College, an MS in Organic Chemistry from Yale University, and a BS in Chemistry from Fordham University.
